Cinco de Mayo

This week we celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a party in the garden behind school.
I learned that Cinco de Mayo is the day that the Mexican army defeated the French army. But really it’s just an excuse to drink tequila and have a giant party.

They ordered Qdoba (it was kinda dry without guac so I was sad but it was still free food!)

And we sat on the grass and had a little picnic!

Ivan was very excited about his salad.
But Amanda was having an even better time!
