On our last day of break we decided to have dinner!
A few weeks ago when we went to H mart, we tried these samples of deep fried seaweed wrapped spicy glass noodles. The oil was so hot that Mark burned the inside of his mouth but they were so good that he ended up buying a package anyways. Min says that the Korean name translates to seaweed fold but we prefer mouth burners instead. So we fried some of them up for dinner.
Amanda and I also fried up some tofu Japanese style and Min made a sauce for it .
For our main dish we made a Thai green curry with vegetables (yay Trader Joe’s!).
And for dessert we had Girl Scout cookies and ice cream. American girl guide cookies are very different (as evidenced by Min’s reaction to the boxes).
They have 11 different flavors and we just have three 😦
